Compared to FFX cops, PWC police look negligent. Don't you remember the monthly Mega-Meets that were in PWC? Literally hundreds of aftermarket exhausts and tinted windows, and the police only stood by and maintained order. In FFX they would've blocked off the exits and ticketed everyone...

 

This is why I spend money on track events.... where i can hit 150+ 2x a lap every lap over and over.

 

the problem is most people balk at spending 200-300 bucks at a track event but end up with a night in jail and a 500 ticket... I dont get it.

 

PWC cops are easy. back in my street racing days I got pulled over by one right after a race. He knew I had been racing, my car was staight downpipe no exhaust dead inspection and he just told me to get out of Prince William County. In fairfax I got pulled over and searched one night for driving around with a group of other modified cars. We all got tickets for every little thing on our cars.

 

All i gotta say is one thing buy a radar detector from ebay $80. i know my detector saved my ass alot of times hehe...

 

Yeah I read about that one, this cat was a student at GW law or Georgetown, but he had a great lawyer to save his ass!

I got nailed for a 97/50 on Route 1 a couple months back in PWC. Got myself a lawyer and had court July 5th of this week. I had a good judge and he ended up giving me no jail time, 1 year probation, and 90 days restricted license. Oh I also took driver improvement course, & Mr. Art Von Herbulis's aggressive driving course ahead of time and the judge saw that as making effort. Oh I also had a +2 driving record. I will say this guys, dont speed, it isnt worth it at all. Im surprised that people that got nailed for going slower than me got atleast 2-5 days in jail with 6 months license suspension and not elgible for restrictive license. They are certainly starting to give jail time for speeding this bad. I know Ive learned my lesson. After $1000+, I am here on a restrictive license for 90 days which isnt too bad. Bottom line, if you are nailed in excess of 100+ MPH, you will go to jail and will lose your license for atleast 6 or 12 months.

werd, my buddy just got out after serving 60 DAYS!!!! but he was doing 105/35 and was already on a suspended license and probation for an assault charge. the judge sentenced him for like 5 months but suspended all but 60 days. his license has been REVOKED. won't LEGALLY drive ever again.
