That was the most wack meet ive been to. I showed up and like 5 mins later everyone dipped. What happened to make the cops go bizerk?

yeah it was an amazing turn out for the rain and right after the cops started to leave i rolled out wiht a few friends. That one mean lady cop scared the shit out of me. She asked who was heading this up and I said i was so she asked for my id and then went to the car and checked it. i also gave her Mac's # so she called him and found out we had permission to be there and said that there was nothing she could do to us. Just about then 4-5 more cop cars rolled down and were looking around. The mean lady cop then asked if we were a club and asked if these cars were lowered and had exhuast systems and all. I didn't answer her on that but just looked away. She said that all these cars better have been trailered in or they would start issuing tickets as soon as we left the property.
I did see cops everywhere with people pulled over on all the roads surronding the shopping center.
What a meet though for the rain. thats our biggest i'd say and there were prolly 150+ cars in total. at 11:30 there were still lots of groups hanging out in lots of diff. parking lots and the cops were still out everywhere. I know i saw a good # of people at Red Robin.

Oh, the reason the cops came is b/c they got complaints about people racing around in the parking structure and on the private roads. I would say that those people ruined it for us ever meeting there again. BIG THANKS TO ALL OF YOU WHO RUINED IT!!! I also heard from many people that there was a new black vette racing around and almost hit multiple cars.- thanks to you especially.

 

yeah the thing is, we had permission to be there, not to fuck around and do whatever we wanted. Some people were doin some stupid shit, but hey, there's some at every meet.

Talk to the owner guy and see what he thinks about everything.

I don't think that i will set anymore of these up. it got way to out of control. i will call him tommorow and thank him for letting us stay when the cops called him and also I wil apoligize for all the stupid assholes who were there.

hey guys, I was there, took a few pics of it early on, but nothing once all the cops showed up. most of the peopel were cool there, but as always, we had the annoying people who felt the need to rev their engines pointlessly in the parking lot, and race in the parking lot.....

I was the blue 2003 SI. Good seeing all of you. Maybe a smaller more organized meet would be good in the future.
