I bought this car off craigslist in December with a clean VA title that stated mileage to be at 99,xxx. The odometer agreed, also indicating 99,xxx miles. The car looked very good when I bought it with the new paint but the left muffler was bent out of shape. I replaced the muffler with an oem Honda muffler and besides hanging a little lower than the right one, the car looks like new. I recently found from Carfax that this Honda actually has 165,000 miles. Apparently the guy I bought it from switched the gauge cluster and obtained a new title with the lower mileage. Soooo, this car drives and looks like a vehicle with 100xxx miles or even less (absolutely everything on this vehicle works), and although the odometer states 104xxx, the car has 165xxx. I would just keep the car and consider myself lucky to get such a good deal on a nice vehicle, but I need something with cheaper insurance and good gas mileage. This car gets 22-23 around town.
