1995 Del Sol

Re: 1995 Del Sol
Bro, everyone knows economy fwd cars all fixed up bring a premium..Being in the Honda game means fixing up a 98 hp car, calling people haters, broke etc. Spending 20k on a car that was never designed nor intended to be "fast", when you can spend 5-10k on something RWD, that's fast and not sound like a riding mower.

Re: 1995 Del Sol
Hahahaha damn, this escalated quickly. Look I never said the car is worth $3500 AS IS, obviously it isnt and I know that.If you look at the market for an unwrecked Del Sol it could easily get around $3500, I understand not everyone wants a Sol but the people who do know what they are worth. I also never intended to get $2000 for it, at least not with out throwing in a bunch of extra parts I have, I just know this site is full of lowballers so I started high, expecting to go low. I am being 100% up front about everything and I'm definitely not "scheming" anyone. Honestly I could fix it no problem, but like I said in the post I AM TESTING WATERS, and have been thinking about pulling the trigger on a different car before this happened so I would rather just sell as is, I dont want a solid car to be crushed is all so I figured I would give it a chance here. My buy back is more than $800 so I would be better off giving it to insurance. If you don't like it, thats fine, move along to something you do.

Re: 1995 Del Sol
Ok calm down everybody, an item is worth what someone is willing to pay for it, insurance values the car at $3500, and if you search the market you find Del Sols going for up to $10,000, ridiculous I know but thats what happens when a certain car is hard to come by. Here is an ad for one that costs $11000 (http://www.autotrader.com/cars-for-s...93679721&Log=0) Is it worth that price even as clean as it is? Probably not, will they find someone who sees its value and buy it for around that price? probably so. Thats how supply and demand works. I see what the kbb is but I also see what they go for, a hell of a lot more than $1100-$1600. As you can also see there is an older Sol with higher mileage going for $5000, and the last pic just to show its not only the dealerships that are pricing above kbb. Yeah it might suck but thats what the used car market is now. You can't just use ONE source and think you did your research. Either way it doesn't matter as the car is now sold. Oh and it had that trick European carpet, and I woulda hooked you up with better deal than that, a pack of zip ties (jdm ones yo) and 2 buckets of Lee's Chicken and all the honey you want, I wouldnt feed you that KFC poison.

No, that car will not sell for 11 grand. You can get an S2000 in decent shape for that. Gen Crunchytoes just sold his sub-100k one with mods for 12. Also, I don't care if they're asking 5 grand. Unless they sell it, that means nothing. Knowing the honda faggot market, this car would have realistically gone for around $2,500 to 3 grand before it was wrecked, so your $3,500 price wasn't that bad.
