I love Dragva and have been a part of it for years. But, over the past week if not more I am LUCKY if the site comes up when I type it in. What's the deal?? Not enough bandwidth? Not enough money? Site repairs? Virus? I hit this site and honda-tech everyday mulitiple times a day and have never not been able to reach ht, but can't here.....

 

i had that problem for a couple days too, and now it's working again.

 

its bc the honda-tech owners actually give a shit about the site.

sung on the other hand could care less if the site is up or down.

it wouldnt be wise to piss off the person that runs the technical aspect of this site...he could easily fuck things up for us...easily

 

Honda Tech is not really a fair comparison as they're hosted by ZeroForum which for us would be extremely expensive. Base Cost: $199/mo for 120k posts, every 1k posts after that is $1, which for us would be over $2600 a month! So that's nearly $3k a month, bit on the pricey side if you ask me

Check their pricing page if you don't believe me. Now for a national make specific forum they probably get enough advertisers to pay for this, but we don't so going to an externally hosted forum is out of the question.

We've been tweaking stuff over the past few days to try and resolve the issues. The past few days server has gone tits up around this time, it's still up as of now, so far so good anyway

EDIT: I lied A few minutes after I posted Apache hit MaxClients and barfed

 

I wasn't hating on the mods or techs, I just want to be able to log on. I missed a really good deal on some fogs cause I couldn't log in....

 

Well if its any consolation, if you couldn't log on no one could

 

I hate servers we have many here at work, and keeping track with them all and solving problems they occur is a nightmare sometimes. Then we have to hear the end-users complain about not getting into the system....wait that sounds kinda like some members on here
