Tech Talk Threads
Is it possible to have the Tech Talk section altered to where members with questions have to submit the question BEFORE it will be posted? I'm tired of seeing useless, pointless and ignorant threads pop up. This is a perfect example of what i'm referring to

I know on other forums threads have to be approved before they are submitted. This will Eliminate threads that turn into SPO's as well
Just a thought

Re: Tech Talk Threads
No it won't.
But I'll ask the moderator if that's something they want, sending all new threads to the queue.

Re: Tech Talk Threads
I know some places already have things like this (the blog replies in Speedhunters for example) but I don't think it really promotes openness at all. It's already a little cutthroat as it is, and I don't want Tech Talk to turn into a place where you can't ask a question unless it is deemed worthy. I'm sorry you're getting annoyed by pointless threads, but I think a little annoyance is better than having a pre-screening.

Re: Tech Talk Threads
You also get the standard reply: report the posts you have issues with and a moderator will look into it.

By pre-screening A mod can have the member post useful and coherent info instead of the typical "can I put a swap into my civic?"

Re: Tech Talk Threads
I can do that anyway, I just do it retroactively instead. Pre-screening all of the forum content just slows everything down.

Re: Tech Talk Threads
I think you're being overly offended by people's poor choice of thread content. If you don't like the news, don't read the newspaper.
