Have friend who can't post...
Hey everyone. My cute little friend Dixie, just joined, and it won't allow her to post or send anyone a pm. It's been so long since I first made my account, so is there somethin she needs to do??? Thanx Rich

When you first make an account you're put in the waiting for validation group, basically the same as not having an account at all it just holds your user name until you validate the account (the link in the email the forums sent).
After that you're put in the trial members group, which has some additional restrictions compared to regular users (see the sticky in this forum).
After your trial period is over you're put in the registered group i.e. what most users are in.
