Can we close SOLD Threads because some jackasses alot lately have been bringing up month old threads, and threads that already state SOLD!!!!!


Idea: Once a item is sold and thread can be closed, notify a moderator?

 

good damn idea, all the old threads that get brought up with an "car still for sale", bump all the new ones down and take the focus away.

 

Notifying a moderator would be the best way. I try to go through the ones that say sold and lock them. But there are a lot of threads and it is very hard to kepe track of.

 

Yet again we can't stress how much you guys need to use the "report post" button. It helps tremendously.

And yes I locked the thread that Kienan started considering I PMed him like 3 months ago and the car was sold.

 

Well, Since im still sick. I will be religous with the sold thread's and you can do the business with closing it.

Yes. It gives us a link to the thread and the post along with the reason given. It helps out A LOT.

 

There is a misleading part about the "Close Thread" button/window.

Underneath the mesage box for reporting the bad post it says...
"Note: This is ONLY to be used to report spam, advertising messages, and problematic (harassment, fighting, or rude) posts. "

Maybe someone can add in there that this can be used to close For Sale threads also. I know I have not used it in the past because it was sort of misleading.

Just a suggestion.

 

If it needs to be reported for anything just do it.
