Star City Motor Madness
Im surprised there is not a thread for this already...or at least i didnt see one.
for those of you who are un familiar, this cruise started like 6 or 7 years ago. Used to be on the 4th of july weekend. but has beens ince moved to the last weekend in june.
This years dates June 27th and 28th. Cruise being the 27th 6pm-10pm (officially) but people stay till midnight and later.
last years estimated numbers were 15,000 vehicles and 80,000 people.
I know probably 90% or better of you know of the cruise, and will be there. So how bout we get the VaDriven/DragVa people together on cruise night?
Ill be out around 6:30 or 7:00

this is the official cruise route map.

but i dont think anyone goes all the way downtown. I normally go from sheetz, up williamson until i can find a place to turn around. last time i went, i got stuck turning around all the way down at the bowling alley. then sat there for like 20 minutes cause traffic was moving to slow.
if you have never been, people line the streets on either side way past the "traditional" strip (go-mart to cross roads)

I'd suggest anyone who goes should just get up there and find a place to park and watch as quickly as possible. Because driving 3 miles in an hour is not really that much fun.
