Did you have the teg with the Type R lip kit? If so, I wasnt very impressed, no offense. It was nice, but nothing overly special.

 

What you like the APC wings, clear tail lights, Ebay knock off parts and all the ricey look and not the clean sleek look???? I guess so because at least my car is not pink let me tell you something I don't care what you like and what you did not like. If you know your Honda/Acura you will be impress on what I have done to my car and I'm dam proud of it.

 

This is the reason why I suggested score based judging. So guys like this could look at their scoresheet and see every category they took a zero in.........in the name of "clean".

I really think it was a setup because that Orange Acura CL was pretty much all stock. The interior was not that great the seats were all cracked up stock Susp, no rims etc etc. He just had a CF hood and a Fiber glass Body kit lol. It's one thing to lose at shows and you stil have fun at shows but that's just amazing that I could lose to a car that just got started modding. The owner even that he was going to lose and I told him you never know buddy and look what happen. I want to know what the judges were thinking, I really think I need to get some crazy body kit and some angle eye headlights with some crazy stickers to get noticed but if that's what it's going to take I'll keep it clean. I have yet found out by the show reps or judges why I lost to that CL that is my question.

I guess you did get jerked. Maybe they couldn't bring themselves to award best of show to the "stock/clean look".

it'd be hard for me too. But that's the strength of the point system, it would've actually helped the cleean car in this case.

 

what point system? I want to know how it was judge! and how in the earth that CL beat me can any1 be straight forward!

 

Couple of pages back I was lobbying for a point system at this show. Meaning your judged with a score sheet........each category having a maximum number of points....exterior, interior, custom bodywork, lighting, i.c.e., paint, engine, and so on. Most of the time this helps "ricers " like me to shit on clean cars at a show since they usually don't have all the bases covered...like no I.C.E., no body mods other than the "front lip", gutted or stock interiors, and just that boring overall stock look.
But I was saying that in your case, the point based scoring/judging would have actually helped. As you had 3 times the mods of the CL and they seem to have been done relatively well.

 

Congrats on rotm on streamline. sweet, but don't let it get to ya. Now you know that if it was any other show you would have busted his ass. Maybe the judges never seen a cl hooked up and was amazed. I don't know what the hell they was thinking. Dreman good job nice win.
