All Stock, what year was that Evo 2004 or 05? of cource it's going to have a very clean engine bay.

So your trying to tell me if I came in with a 2006 Ford Escort off the dealer then trailer it to that show and I will win best of engine? Or other hand If I come in with a fully modded engine w/powder coating and it will lose? Like the CL that beat my Integra WTF I have invested over 10g's into my car and that CL only invested around a g. My rims is over 3g's by itself and I'm the only one that have them beside the SSR sponsor vehicle that's in Japan even most of my parts are very hard to get.

A VW won in "Best VW", ok no prob.

A VW won in "Best European" against two M3's and a 944. Ok seriously they have their own category for a reason. The M3 was hot, I wish i had pics of the outside.

i owuldnt diss it completly. It was organized well, the judging needed a lil help though.

 

I don't think it was orginized well enough like for example best of show only no 2nd, or 3rd place and the Judging.

The Judging I have no clue on where in the hell they find them in the street? C'mon who in the hell look at my car only for over 10 times then the CL beat me WTF. I even had a Mods list up front. I want to know why in the earth the CL won?????


Of cource I'm going to be pist I drove from the D.C. line and cought up with traffic that took us a good 6hrs to get down there and we miss the circuit city show because of the traffic then we decided to come here instead and this shit happen.

not in defense of the show but more in the defense of the organization running the show only but so many cars will show up when 95% of the people that personally said they would come to show to the organizers do not show up or show up too late to enter. And props to Circuit City for what they did with their show cuz that didn't help, I'm sure more then half those cars would have been at the Soundshop one if CC didn't have one that day. So just want to clear that up for shows in future, cuz participants and spectators of last two soundshop shows know it's usually a good show with 80-90 cars. And as a volunteer promoter and not a employed organizer (thus having really no power) I def. let them know what they did wrong to use as reference for future shows such as categories, location, prizes, dyno, etc.

 

As head organizer of this show i will respond once to this and leave it be. Alot of things went wrong sat afternoon. Alot of people didn't show up and alot of people went to the CC show. My DJ blew his amp, I have bosses that act like i dont know anything about cars/car shows and dont let me have more control. Some things at the show were out of my hands such as the crummy ass location, lack of prizes, and money spent on useless crap such as the carnival rides and what not when it could be spent on the things I need changed. At everycar show in the world theres always gonna be some people upset or not agreeing with things that went down. Ill start with the judging i was not a judge but one of the judges a close friend owned one of those M3's and the other one was completely stock so sorry they couldn't win against really nice/modded Vw's. All of the other judging is what it was I stand behind them and sorry if you dont agree with the results. I dont care if anybody hates no 2nd or 3rd place trophies I'm sorry some shows just dont have them and I have my reasons for it. Ask any of my past supporters my past two shows have been alot of fun. I'm not trying to make exscuses but you win some and you lose some. I was extremely dissapointed in my show due to lack of cars, if you couldn't tell by my lack of enthusiasm announcing the winners.(I was ready to go home) Alot of work and sacrefice went into this show and it just didn;t come together. Alot of people dont know,understand or respect that work but i dont really expect you too. I would like to thank those who did come out and enjoy themselves and I will work to have changes made to keep my show's reputation alive. thankyou--kory

 

i had fun. met alot of nice people. saw a ticket given out. didnt win but it was stil nice.
