Yeah, Kevin told him there was no posted minimum, and the officer said that the minimum is 45. It really isn't a big deal since no one is ever trying to go 45 down the highway. Hell, some people do double that. I think the thing that made him mad was that we were taking up the left three lanes and left only the one right lane to pass.

That doesnt work, on my last ticket the cop wrote my car was a honda civic, it clearly is not. As long as your personal info is correct and the vin, and licence plate are right it doesnt matter.

 

No offence man but Ross should not just pay it. Its his first ticket more then likely they will tell him to go to traffic school and stay clean for 6 moths and it get dropped off your record completly. By prepaying a ticket you are ad mitting guilt and take the maximum point penilty and the maximum money penelty.

Here is what you need to do. Take traffic school FIRST. You'll gain some + points to your driving record. The judge will probably make u do it anyways and if it is a court order, you will not gain + points on your record. When the judge sees you wanted to improve your driving habits before even going to court, he will probably drop it.

Dont worry about it too much, if your not Black or Hispanic, you won't get fucked over in court if you follow that advice, trust me. Don't forget to charm them with your British talk.
