you can get a used k24 bottom end and then pick up a k20a2 head for 1000..... then get the rest of stuff you need and ur gonna be iight

all i know is that a well prepped stock internal k24/k20 motor in a hatch WILL run 12s if not 11s w/o lsd how much more work would you have to do to any of those other motors you just listed to do that?

 

depends what car. My point was other than H22 and LS, Honda motors were way over priced compared to just about most popular swaps.

SRs fit right into 240s.
RBs fit right into 240s with motor mounts and other small things that are easily obtainable.
1JZ and 2JZ fit right into many Toyotas and Lexus cars
STi motors fit right in any Imprezas
Evo motors probably fit right in Galants

If you go across seas, they put SR20s into BMWs and any other small cars, and 2JZs into everything else.

Back on topic for a sec...

Jarod, Chris and I spoke to the coordinator of the parking at ODU. He said in order for us to meet at the North Garage (current location), everyone would need a parking decal or visitor pass.

The guy was cool as shit though, and said we could move the meet to the overflow lot by the ODU golf course near Whitehurst. All we have to do is shoot him an email the day of the meet, and he will tell the cops that we are back there so they won't bother us.
