Exactly. Unfortunately for the charity, they are too focused on making this a get together for different teams to gather around and hang out, as opposed to different people getting together to support a charity. It's too bad that the charity is going to be the one that loses out.
BTW, if you have anything to say on my comments as far as donating to the charity, I just sent a message to one of your little squads agreeing to go in the dunk tank for them at thier car show. Don't judge me because I'm not on a team/club.

[QUOTE=jdavis]Put me as number 1 on that list. I just enjoy playing. I had no plans on stacking a team, I would just throw the first 10 people interested in playing/helping out the charity together and call it a team. I still think you are stupid thought for leaving out people who would be more than willing to participate and donate to your charity, just because they aren't in a team.[/QUO
Ha thats cool every club has said keep it like this.So every club i have talked to is stupid but its cool.Ill keep ya in mind if anyone needs a player.

Alright here is a solution, how many 100% garunteed clubs do you have, make that list, then get everyone who wants to do this on a list. Now,how many innings are you going to play, put all those people on the club teams, this is what we did when we had a tournament between different churches, each team had between 20-30 players that wanted to play. Each time at bat a different gruop went to the plate, and they alternated in the out field, the last two inning then each teams picked among themselves who were the best players to play, we never had a problem with this set up. Obvisiously this idea was better than you thought(softball game participation) I know I said before clubs only but if that many people want to play we should let them, you still have your clubs and they get to meet people with other interest other than show cars.Plus adding alot of teams, do plan for this to last one day, you still dont have field, you might not be able to get amultiple field complex where you can play two or more games, and lets not forget umps, you get a bunch of teams you might be there for 2 days and nights,LOL.
