It's a for sale thread. It would be different if it were a build thread or something that was meant to be seen over the course of time. This is a for sale thread, and considering he hasn't updated the thread in over a year and a half, I would bet it's either been sold or is no longer for sale--which makes your comment about the car irrelevant to the thread. PM would have been sufficient.
