I'm looking to get rid of a 2000 zx7 it runs needs work. it was laid down full yoshi exhaust and some polished frame and rim lips I'm looking for 1000 or best offer. Am I realistic

depends on what kind of work it needs, and how bad it was layed down. But I think you could do 1000 for it, especially if its just the fairings are scratched up, one of the mirrors broke off, and thats it.
