not getting power to starter think it may be solenoid but not sure could it be starter cable or what any to test and see what else could it be p.s here a clicking sound when tryinng to start bike wont turn over

battery could be too weak and it also sounds like you have a loose connection.


take the battery cables off, clean the connections, re tighten them. charge the battery up a little bit or check the static voltage with a voltmeter if you have one.

If you want to rule out the starter being bad, simply bridge the connection on the starter solenoid. In other words, remove the battery cable from one post on the solenoid and touch it directly to the other side of the starter solenoid.

I'm not sure what year your bike is, but you might try reading this thread from kawasakiforums.com: http://www.kawasakimotorcycle.org/fo...not-start.html

Edit: Where is the clicking noise coming from? Try charging your battery, as mentioned by sprack, but if that doesn't do it, I'd recommend tapping the solenoid with a hammer or screw driver while trying to start your motorcycle.
