Default wtb - title... no bike needed

real weird request, but i'll try to explain, bought a bike, person who bought bike previously never titled bike, so when he signed bike over to me it was his signature not the original owns signature, dmv says the title is now invalid, so i can't register the bike, so now i'm trying to find someone who has a track/stunt/or whatever bike that they have the title for but don't have registered because of the fact they're not using it as a street bike, if theres any worries after i title it in my name i'll sign the new title back over to you and give it to you so you dont have to ever worry about someone out there coming after your bike with a title in their hand claming ownership, shot in the dark but hey i really have no other options and figured someone might have a stunt bike that has a title laying around, or even if someone just has an old license plate i'd buy that

you do realize that this is a public forum and that is illegal as a mo-fo, right?

go thru a title service and get the title legit, or buy a used, clean titled frame, or at least a clean titled neck so there's never any issues.

Dude, just apply for a lost title. Takes 30 days.

I've done a lost title and it was easy as hell. No reason to go through all the extra drama

well people at dmv weren't helpful enough to even mention any thing about a lost title, so how exactly does it work? if i apply for it will they not just send the title back to the previous owner? or how does it work

yup so very lazy, because i completely skipped the steps where i tried to title the bike the normal way and went right the the zany brainy schemes, ignore the fact that the lady at the dmv told me theres no way to title the bike short of having the orginal owner go into dmv and get another title, a guy who i have no immediate means of contact with, and lives in another state, and has never seen, met, or heard of me, so i guess you're right i'm just being lazy, go back to your sevencityforums
