Why all the locked threads?

Why all the locked threads?
Come back from my weekend at VIR and i see like 70 locked threads in here, what gives?
I've been moderating Super Honda's Del Sol and motorcycle forums for like 5 years and have only had to lock maybe 10 threads max in that period... every single thread in here i see has no reason to be locked so far, alot of them get locked for going off topic, but some of the most interesting conversations come from a thread that does a total 180
it doesn't get much traffic here as is, the only reason i lock threads is when fights get really out of hand, like on a personal level or physical threats... just my .02

The reason I lock them is becasue half on them are old threads but then again there are alot more whores on drag

I agree, but i guess thats what aim is good for. 4 of us were in a chat room talking the other night. Its good fun.
