Default where to find GOOD used bikes

I'm in Richmond, and I'm trying to find a nice used bike for $2k or under. as long as it's over 400cc, I'm fine, but I just don't know of any good places to find bike in that price range. any help would be appreciated!

There's a trade-off dealing with brick and mortar versus finding good deals. Generally speaking, you can find the best deals through private sellers. Going through "brick and mortar" places leads to you paying too much. Stick to craigslist, this forum, and you might try cycleforums.com as well. I found my first bike on cycleforums, so you never know what you'll find until you look.

Either way, good luck with your search.
