Well....
I think stretched swingarms are tacky esp if they hangout past the tail.to strecha carbed 600...pointless, just tacky if you cant hold a 6 down give up....oh well I hate streched arms I like to keep the sides of my tire scuffed but thats just me..to each his own

One of them that rarely hits the track actually ran IIRC a 5.9 on his GSX-R 1000.. Granted, that's a 1/8th mile track, but that's fucking fast! He runs with me through the mountains and curvy roads, so either his riding ability extremely overcompensates the stretched swingarm, or it doesn't completely kill his handling.

Load the bike up and head down to the Roanoke area and we'll all go for a ride. Or maybe we can meet at the gap next summer?

The routes around here aren't the gap by any means but there are LOTS of nice roads with loads of beautiful scenery, twists and turns... Typical country/mountain roads with very little traffic. Nothing better than getting out with a few friends and hitting the road for a day of riding, you know? I'd like to get onto a track soon!

.................I've been riding dirtbikes since I was 7 and I'm 16 now so I'm a competant street rider so I'm gonna get a gixxer 600 as my first street bike.
people aren't born with all knowlege already stored in their brain, you learn by asking questions and experiences, just because he doesn't know something because he's never asked or never had that experience doesn't mean he's incompetant, you can be a competant rider and not know everything there is to know
he didn't say what year gsxr 600 anyways that i saw, a SRAD wouldn't be a horrible first bike choice, a 2006 gsxr 600 is another thing but even then unless he asks or is told, how is he to know any better?
