upgrading brake lines
ok, so the Seca unfortunately is stuck with the single disc in the front until I can upgrade to a newer bike. Will upgrading the brake lines to Steel Braided lines really make any difference? I have read that the rubber will stretch and you will lose some of that force on your hydraulic receiver, but is it truly and upgrade that I would want to do?

Re: upgrading brake lines
I wouldn't bother unless you're tracking it........especially it being a Seca II with the single front disc. I highly doubt you'll feel any difference.....

Aside from the obvious performance advantage stock rubber lines need to be replaced often (even though most fail to do this) so there are two good reasons for him to switch.

Re: upgrading brake lines
I have found kits for about $80 shipped. I think its worth it. Didn't know that you had to replace the lines every couple of years- fluid yes, lines no.
