Default tire size question

ok my rear is 180 55 and my front is 120 65. i'm looking at metzler M3's on motorcycle superstore and they have the rear size, but the fronts they have 120 50 and 120 60... which one would you recomend and why?

edit: ok oops nevermind, i was looking at a chart that was just listing 1 day deliveries or shipping. but still, would you change the tires you have to maybe a taller tire or shorter tire? and why? i would seem to think that a taller tire would allow you to lean the bike easier. am i correct?

Your tires should be 180/55R17 and 120/65R17. Those are your stock sizes.

a taller tire is slightly more stable, but turns a little slower. a shorter tire is slightly less stable, but turns in quicker. happy medium is usually a 120/65

also, i think you're looking at your tire size wrong. typical sportbike fronts are 120/60, 120/65, or 120/70. i've never seen a 50 or 55 series front tire. that would be freakin SCARY small.
