Where to get good cheap motorcycle covers?
My motorcycle is parked outside sadly because I live in Apt complex.
I bought a motorcycle cover from walmart about 1 1/2 year ago and it has now disintegrated and turned into scraps.
Where can I get a decent cover that will protect and not turn to shreds after a short time? I am on a tight budget, but I want to keep my bike protected.
Let me know what works and where I can get it.
Stores I have around me are:
walmart
Autozone
pepboys
advanced auto
motorcycle dealer
Let me know how your covers from these different places are holding up, and which one I can go with, that will be durable for a budget price.

lol, walmart...i made the same mistake, bought their piece of crap and it just made my bike dirtier, with all the pieces on the inside that fell apart. But I'm poor so I went back there and bought a tarp, lol, til I have enough money to buy one of those cycle shells or something

I got a relatively cheap Guardian cover now... think it's a DOWCO cover. It's much nicer, but was about $45.

but really, why be cheap when it comes to protecting what is probably an expensive investment? I also bought a fitted cover.. The Guardian was just a temp cover until I could afford something better. I still use it from time to time

Re: Where to get good cheap motorcycle covers?
well, my bike is old, but I dont want the weather taking a toll on it. I have already seen what the weather can do to the cover, but I am on a tight budget. I might have this bike for another year or so until I get to upgrade, so maybe a cover that can last a year is fine. I just dont want back another walmart one, because of all the dust it leaves when the paper stuff they have lining it start to disintegrate, it just turns to dust and makes my bike dirtier than if I didnt have a cover.
