might need your computer/fi tweaked as it may be a lean or rich condition. Bikes aren't really designed to run all that well at the lowest rpm's like that

well, i did everything i said i was gonna do. including: clean chain, tighten, wax chain, injector cleaner, new plugs, clean air filter. it went away a little bit, but it's still noticeable. so, whatever i did helped, but didn't take care of completely. hoping the injector fluid needs to circulate and that'll be that. anyone ever get a 14000mile service. guess that's where they check the valve clearance. how much you think i'm lookin at spending. guessing 3 or so hours of work right? lata

at work we get 60$ to check them, and then like $120 if they need adjusting... checking them is easy and i can almost gaurentee they won't need to be adjusted, and even if they are out that wouldn't be your stuttering problem... did you recently do any engine mods at all?

nope...nothing. the bike feels ten times better...i just don't like the tiny stutter and a lot of people say gixxers just don't like low idle, but it didn't do it before. it did go away a lot, but it's still noticeable. wondering what else to check. fuel filter maybe? um....engine mount or if it really needs an oil change that bad, but didn't think that could be the problem. thanks for any ideas

oil change wouldn't really cause that but if you can't remember the last time you did one i would do it anyways... they don't have a real replaceble fuel filter unless one has been added in the fuel line, just a in tank fuel strainer that never really needs service... it sounds exactly like the usual low rpm lean spot that you get when adding an exhaust, but with out doing any mods and it suddenly appearing and you having already covered those bases i really don't know

yeah i bought it with 9-10k miles and he said oil was just done and now i have like 12800. i was gonna do it before i store it for winter. i have d&d but again, it was on there before i bought it and it didn't stutter for my first 2k =) don't know. just confused because what i did helped it a lot, but didn't rid the problem completely. thanks again. what co. do you work for?
