Yea... the bike is back together...

I had to do some other minor adjustments. I took it out for a ride.. the bars were tweeked a little and my shifter was getting stuck on the kickstand. So I had to readjust that and straighten the bars out. Other than that... it rides great...

I didn't pop it up at all... YET... but it did lift in second gear when I was beating up on a GSXR 1000... Of coarse... I got the.. something is wrong with my bike excuse. but hey.. it was fun anyways... either way... it is back up and doing good.

Oh... and stock.. I wll still be getting another smoked taillight for my bike.. so this one I am using will be available again.

ha... went for a ride today... and when i was riding I decided that i might try to lift the front tire...

Ha... I got it a foot or 2 off the ground and got real nervous. So I ended up putting it down, rather quickly.

LOL... so... It might be a while before I am goofing off again... lol

what does what mean? the front end sitting higher? Means that the bike has less weight to pick up from a lower point. Since the front is now sitting higher... it does not have to pick it up as far. Combine that with the fact that it was a cold night so the air was better for the bike. I made that intake mod and the throttle was more responsive and I had not done a power wheelie in a while...

There was ample reason for something to go wrong. I just didnt put all of them together and account for them. I just did it.

All is well... the bike is back together and runs great. I am healing great... and the bike should be painted before the weekend. so.. good times.

i knew my bike before... i knew the changes that I made... I knew how they affected the bike... i guess... i just didn't take them all into account.

And... yes.. I went and tried to do a wheelie on a back road... just to see how I would react .. and I got the rock in your stomach feeling... you know... the one that you get when something is about to go wrong. That is all I wanted to see. If I was going to be nervous or if I was going to shrug it off. and I am nervous.

I will just have to over come it and learn things all over again.
