So... it finally happened..
My stupidity caught up to me! LOL...
So.. last night me and some friends were going to bike night at quaker steak.
I decided that I was gonna fuck off a little bit on the way to get gas. Well.. I hadn't really gotten on my bike since I did my most recent mod, but I could feel that the throttle response was much better now.
We were leaving the light and no other traffic around... So... I moved over a lane and cracked the throttle to pick up the front tire...
Well... atleast that was the intent...
It came up a little higher than normal but I was ok... I felt the front end start to fall a little.. so anticipating it.. I gave it a little gas... I guess I forgot about the throttle response because the bike shot over and the tail touched down I held on for a second but decided it was probably in my best interest to let go. So... I did.
The bike came down on the left side. The frame slider did its job and took the inital impact but then broke off. My rear spool was grinded down to a nub as well as the frame slider bolt, grinded down the left mid fairing, shattered my new taillight, Bent my shifter, Cracked my tail, Broke my trunk lock, knocked my cowl off, and broke my left clip on.
I had my jacket on and forgot my boots at home. Unfortunetly when you let go and the bike is straight up.. you tend to fall on your ass. Which only had jeans and thermals on. The road made easy work of my pants thermals and boxers. I felt my ass getting hot and immediately threw my weight to the left. I rolled twice and ended up on my feet. I got a little rash on my left cheek, both knees, and left ankle.
I gathered my tattered parts and put them in a friends bag. Started the bike and drove to a near by parking lot. No other damages.. I kicked my shifter back out to make it usable and drove the bike home with 1 hand.
This was when I got the bike back
This is after I straightened the shifter. You can see how bent it was in the first picture. It was worse than that.. but I had to bend it back to be able to get my foot somewhat under it to drive it.
Rollingstock came over and welded up some of my plastics... they didn't come out too bad. I should be able to sand it down and have it shot and you will probably never be able to tell.
Here is some of the rash pictures... It is not that bad

Re: So... it finally happened..
I have never said that I am a prime example of a good rider. I can ride my bike very well... and tend to do it agressively on occassion.
Not all the time.. but I do like to have fun.
I know when I am being stupid... and if I get caught and issued a ticket.. I have no ill will towards anybody.. the only time I complain is when I see an officer going really far out of the way to issue a ticket.
