I know of a couple of people finding the blue and white one and just painting the white parts, I got lucky and found a blue and black one

 

Yes the combo that you want is easily available. Trading is not as easy since you have to find the same bi-year styling. What that means is every 2 years most manufacturers change the styling and color schemes. Same goes for most other bikes as well. The Katana is the easiest to change since it is essentially the same bike since it was introduced way back in '86 with minor mechanical changes. The body work was what changed the most on those.

the headlight and body is just a tad bit too aggressive for me. and the 02 below are a little too round. the 04 an 05, i have a liking for some reason.

06+ still badd ass bike just not what im looking for right now.

if it wasnt so hard to find a nice cbr or 636 for a reasonable price id hop on those.

 

Keep looking and get the color you want, kinda sucks that people are jacking up the price just because of the spring bug. Sold mine to my cousin last week, loved that bike.

 

i know like last week in the baltimore craigslist..there was a set of black and blue pastics for an 07 60 that were taken off as soon as he got it and he was asking $800...came with headlight turn signals everything
