I also picked up a cheapo brake bleeder kit from Harbor Freight yesterday, so hopefully I will get the damn brakes done. Also just found out my dad can make some custom cables, so I am concidering sending mine to him to get 4 more inches...then I don't have to worry about binding it up going through the frame...
Well, in the morning, my clutch cable will be headed to Maryland to become 4" longer than stock. I really don't want my clutch cable binding up the way it will if I have to run it thru the engine...guess I won't be riding this weekend either...
Sooooo, my project tonight went in a totally different direction...I will let the pictures speak for themselves!!

It's all spray cans...took more time taping off the internal crap like the motor, than it did painting!! I didn't do the swingarm. I have an extra one so I will probably do that one and then mount my 636 rear shock also. But I am torn, I really wanna put on the R1 swinger, it looks awesome where mine looks plain. But I also know if I do that, it will take welding which I can't do; and I really won't get to ride much. I also need to get it ready for Fighter Fest in July, so it has to be on the road then!!
And as for doing yours, I barely had time to do mine!! Didn't finish until 1am last night!

Heh heh...Harbor Freight has a small wire feed on sale of $90 right now...been tempting. I know I couldn't do aluminum, but it would be something to learn on.
I appreciate the offer, could come in handy if I ever get to that point. I have an R1 swinger that I am thinking of using, but the shock perches would have to be relocated (R1's is center, 6R's is offset), so I would need some welding. Might be a while down the road...probably just putting a newer ZX's swinger, shock, and hugger on it for a while. Not really sure yet which direction the bike is going in...either way, it will be the inexpensive route!!
