Progress pics
Well, as usual, the work on the fighter is progressing....slowly! I did get a little bit done over the last week...might actually get it together today, guess we will see how it goes!
Anyway, I have the bars mounted (kawi mule risers, crf150 bars, new grips), custom mount for the brake resovoir (z1000 brake lines), and re-fabbed the upper using my '03 ZX6R's stock screen. I had to cut it down a bit more than I wanted since it is mounted closer to the lights and gauges, so it still looks similar to the origional. I do have a pic of the two together so you can compare. I think it looks cleaner.
Also, I mounted a '07 ZX6R tail light to the rear. I had to cut the rear plastic (and will cut more later) to make it fit and look better. It needs more of an angle than it has, but I'm not ready to repaint the tail just yet...maybe later.
Now I have to bleed the brake lines and hook up the clutch cable. That is taking a little bit of work since I am using the origional...just routing it through the motor. Might have it together today, have to see how it goes!

Re: Progress pics
The screen with the skull was the old one...I like the skull, just don't want the Punisher skull (Steve can use it if he wants!). Too many people thought I was trying to make a Punisher theme bike, which I wasn't. I will come up with something else, not sure yet. Hell, I'm not even sure if I like the color yet, might be repainting it again.
Here is a pic of when that screen was on the bike. It just didn't look too clean to me. The holes around the headlights were too large and open on one side and it didn't tuck in the way I wanted it to...so I redid it.

Shit looks dope bud. I'd try some bigger lights. I almost went with something small like that on my bike, but I'm really glad I opted for the 4'' lights. The tail light like great on there too.
Btw- you know damn well you don't need blinkers or gauges.

Re: Progress pics
IN FaCT... looking at the pic... i think if you lower it 3-4 inches so its fluched or closed to the lower triple (or whatever that part is called on the forks) it would look quite sick

Re: Progress pics
If I lower it, then it will be below the gauges. I am using the screen to hide the gauges and the wiring.
I want to get it all back together by this weekend, so once it's all done, I will take some pics and see how it all looks together.
