A 59-year-old man has died after the motorcycle he was on collided with a car yesterday.
John Wood, of the 300 block of Williamsburg Court, died at 3:20 a.m. today from head and internal injuries, according to a police news release.
The crash happened about 4:15 p.m. yesterday when the motorcycle and a Ford Taurus collided at the intersection of Kenilworth Drive and Deep Creek Road, police wrote in the release.
The Taurus was making a left turn from Kenilworth Drive onto Deep Creek when the vehicles collided, according to police. Wood was thrown from the motorcycle and taken to a hospital.
Susan Thomas, 54, who also lived in the 300 block of Williamsburg Court, was charged with failing to yield to oncoming traffic, police said.

This happened in my neighborhood. Must be kind of akward for that lady to live next to the person she killed. Also, I'm thinking about notifying the AMA because failure to yeild is a BULLSHIT charge for killing someone. I've had speeding tickets cost more than that man's life. Anyway, RIP.

RIP..i dont know what im goin to do if i see one more rider die this month and the cager get some bullshit fucking charge..stiffen the law and i bet cagers start LOOKING like they should to turn left on green, and less riders crashing..i know sometimes its the bike fault but these left turns from cagers are getting a lil rediculas.. anyway RIP to yet another rider gone and fuck the law for just letting shit slide..again
