this is my personal opinion so don't jump all over it....i would go 636 all the way...engine is much torquier and middle range power is really good for a 600...while the cbr just feels sluggish compared to the 636.....however the sitting position on a 636 sucks...it pushes you forward and puts strain on your lower back....while a cbr sits very comfortable..

It really depends on your riding style and what you will use the bike for.

I meant are you a stunter or a knee dragger or a track whore? Do you ride long distances or just around town? All those would play a role in which bike to purchase IMO.

I'd go with the 636.
