i definetly hope he dies, just as i wish on anyone else that runs, i mean suffering for a few days in a hospital before he goes is good though... we've all read the stories, we've all seen the tv shows, if you run you know what your risking, so it was his decision to take that upon himself... its crap like that why people take us doing 65 in a 55 so seriously and why cops get on the loud speaker and demand me to throw my keys on the ground when i get pulled for not having a license plate light or something trivial, because they think we are all going to run

I was thinking the same thing. I know people that have gotten away from cops during a chase, including myself. I also know people that weren't too lucky. I don't believe everything the media puts out though.

Im not sure but, I believe that if the cop did hit him, the cop had to get permission first. He can't just run a car off the road like that much less a bike... and the thing about chasing after 100mph is if he sees a bike going by that fast while he is on the side of the road running radar, not to chase him but to radio ahead. If this cop was riding beside him or behind him and saw him doing the wheelies then tried to pull him and he ran, thats a different story. That is when it because eluding Spell? the police...

i would have to say that as retarded as this guy already seems riding on the wrong side of the highway its very believable that he just may be retarded enough to try to hit the cop. cops arnt supose to chase bikes over 100 mph. so chances are the cop just stayed at a slower speed and the bike was doing 130 and then slowed down when he saw the trooper not keeping up. i would say the trooper is just as much of a dumbass for chasing him doing 130. he could have killed someone just as easily if not easier then the guy on the bike. i rather get hit by a motorcycle then a trooper car anyday

::SIGH:: its so difficult. Im literally starting to hate riding to work in the mornings. i take 64 to 664 to get to work, and riding the speed limit is more dangerous than speeding. im paranoid because im on my bike and figure a cop will get all excited at the sight of me and decide to pull me over if i go the flow of traffic. keep in mind speed limit is a posted 55 but everyone is doing no lower than 70. it sucks royal ass. i try to cruise in the right lane, i get pushed by oncoming cars and tractor trailers and people trying to get off, i get on HOV, and i will get nailed by impatient people. and the lanes in the middle are full of people not paying attention. so its either speed, or risk getting farked

ummm ya, isnt there an over 80mph no chase law in va? i know they had that shit in florida when the biker apparently was racing a porsche and a cop was chasing him blew a tire, and crashed and died, and the biker got 30yrs for attempted vehicular manslaughter or somethin. THERES A NO CHASE LAW FOR A REASON.....i agree the speeder is at fault for bein stupid and risking the their life and others, but with an extra car encouraging it, that doesnt help the situation much.

'no chase after 80mph' is pretty dull.. i can see not exceeding 120mph... weres the incentive for a biker not to run if he knows after 80mph a cop wont chase him... we all know that doing 80mph on a bike isnt anything special.. shit, you can cruise at 90-100mph and barely know your doing it...

if it was my decision.. i would have no problem laying down a spike strip for a biker doing that kind of shit... no car chasing him.. and it will get that fucker out of the damn gene-pool..
