Motorcycle track days statistics needed
I just came from the track this past week. Really, as long as you ride within your means and don't go over your head, you're good. I mean, there's always a possibility, but that's anytime you leave the house. Couple of guys from our group went down, but mostly unavoidable situations (slower riders, high-side, low side). Just sign up for the basic rider course, you won't regret it. I can't wait to get back to the track.
for track days, id say u prolly get maybe 2 or 1 death each year thats for the whole country.
serious injuries are another story. shit happens, youre going fast on a big scooter, stuff happens.
Racing on the other hand is a whole new kettle of fish, as some of those dudes cant put food on their tale without results, so its a dog fight for real.
