2005 track days with either TPM, Cornerspeed, or SBTT?
Well, I guess I miss the track.
since it's too cold, unless i go to Road Atlanta or Jennings Gp.
but that is too far of a drive and adds more to the track cost which is already not cheap.
anyway, what stirred me into posting this is that i was reading on another forum how they are already trying to put together a trackday for those members in 2005.
i thought what a good idea, and maybe we should get one too. i think someone tried to get something like this together earlier this year, but it all fell apart.
maybe, since track season at VIR is so far away(starts in march), just a show of hands on who would be interested in this.
i only went 4 times this year and will plan on doing atleast 4 trackdays next year.
my question is, would anyone be interested in this and what month would you be willing to go to VIR?
i will be going with D&D again next year, like i do every year.
if you have never been to the race track there is a beginner group, and you do not need to worry. just need to be able to get the proper protection and bike safety wired, i can help with anyone that.

Jennings has track days every other weekend for 99 bucks. And it's always warm in Florida! And your bike does (usually) doesn't have to be safety wired for beginner.

just tell me when and i'm there... so far i've been riding with cornerspeed and STT, but this year i'd like to ride again with NESBA and try out team promotion just to get a feel for everyone, i also plan to actually race a little later this season
i'd say STT or NESBA would be the easiest, their beginner group requires pretty much zero gear or prep work and the pace is very easy, cornerspeed you have to do their school to ride with them so any first timers wouldnt' be able to ride with us, and i've never ridden with TPM so can't so how they are

And Del: let me know which races you plan on being in. I'll be getting my license in March and doing every race possible all next year. I'll miss the first one in March due to getting the license; but that should be it.
We're calling our race team "CR2" (Coast Riders Racing). We've got everything we need and about 8 people on our team. We've already got some sponsership as well.
Only thing I need is tire warmers, transponder, lots and lots of tires and I should be good to go. I'm getting a race prepped 03 F4i for next to nothing!!!!

damn thats awesome, i have a set of brand new tire warmers never opened or used that a customer ordered but never picked up, if you want them i'll give them to you at dealer cost, if one of your sponsors can get them to you cheaper than that cool, but if not i'm trying to sell them at cost instead of sending them back and getting a 20% restock fee
who do you guys race with ccs or wera?

I wouldn't run street tires...........maybe Pilot Powers. You can always find a set of scrubs (Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa's) from somebody for 50-75 bucks. MUCH better than any brand new street tire imho.
