He means motorcycle specific gear. Dressy leather jackets come apart in a wreck. I slid down the road for about 200' and was wearing jeans, leather (bomber) jacket, leather gloves, work boots, and of course my lid. Had bad rash on my knees, semi bad on my elbows, and some scrapage on my back from the jacket riding up. Head and hands were fine.

Yeah, I wear proper gear everywhere I go. Jeans will actually grab the pavement causing you to roll...which is where bones get broke. Leather will allow you to slide...watch any bike race. Those guys are wrecking at 100+ and getting up much of the time...gear works!

Here is another good reason to wear your gear. Yeah, she has also learned her lesson...the hard way.

ahahahaha, I love when they wreck in a turn, slide a few hundred feet on the pavement then onto those rocks or grass and get right up and run over to their bike and start kicking it or trying to pick it back up. Now thats some impressive shit, the quality of the gear they have out now....dam...I need some leather pants, and some boots baaaaadly.
