The dude is seventy fucking six years old. 10 days in jail will be ROUGH on him.

The only thing they went light on is the license suspension. He's proven that his driving days should be over. It's a shame someone had to die but you guys are acting like this elderly dude said Fuck Bikes and ran him down in cold blood.

And a million dollars? Give me a fucking break. Good luck with that.

 

does anyone remember the guy on an R6(?) I believe that was run down right by the new dicks at town center last summer? i wonder what kind of charge that guy got since he died after being pinned under the truck. also, im not sure but i believe the driver was drunk, so of course his sentence will be much greater.

 

Lmao, killed someone and got 20day..... Just 20 days. WOW, Nice thing these cops and courts are doing these days. How U gonna give someone like 5 years for selling drugs and stealing but then you drive wreckless " ADMIT" you did and killed a guy , but just get 20 days in jail... Big high five for our tax money getting spend in good ways... lmao.

I'm interested in knowing what happens at the appeal..cus he wont get the same judge and it dont mean the new one wont tack more penaltys on..im not saying i want the guy to sit in jail til he dies but 6 months of no license this fucker should never be driving again, and only 1 million lawsuit?? I'd be goin more like 10 just to really slap him in the face..anyone find out the new court date let me know im down for hangin outside the courts on my bike while new trial goes down, might make a lil difference if theres a shit load of bikes out that day when the judge walks up..i'll bring the grill and hot dogs!!

I have to disagree, if you knew anything about manslaughter/law you'd know he'd have to have some criminal intent. If it had been a car, the guy would have been fine, the dude wasn't out there to kill anyone, shit does happen. However i think he should have had a bit stiffer punishment, but giving him 10-20 years in prison doesn't fit the crime, it had no criminal intent.

As for the Million dollar lawsuit, i can agree with that, the man was negligent and should deserve to pay, and i think that is suitable, if not, i think the mother should get a little more. But saying the man deserve to do hard time with people who have raped/murdered people because he couldn't stop in time is silly.

 

There is no mention of children. And judging by the dude's age any children they had are likely adults anyway.

Life insurance should be sufficient. She's just showing her opportunism by suing for such a stupid amout of money.

he left behind a wife and 2 sons..prob right though if hes 56 the sons are most deffenetly adults by now..

and i think thats why the have involentary manslaughter, might not be any crimal intention but deffenetly negligents..
