One of my co-workers doesnt want his anymore. ... And i offered to trade him his bike plus some cash for my miata. ... Now, my miata, which is for sale, is one out of 644 made in 2000. . . The car is worth about 10-12K... i'm not worried about that, all i want is to pay off my loan almost 8K and get a shitty ass car until maybe next year. . . I thought that selling a bike around here would be a lot easier than selling a modified miata. . . With that said, for how much would i be able to sell this Kawi if i do trade? Both titles are in hand (his and mine) Also, how much cash should i ask for?

NOte that i just want to make it to 8K, not being greedy or anything here. All i want is FREEDOM from my car payment.

I highly doubt you will get anything close to 8 for it. But to give you an idea, I sold my 05 ZX6R over a year and a half ago for 6700.

Actually, probably around 4.5-5.5k depending on the bike just like everything else sells for.

The bike is Clean, he said it was downed by the PO but all plastics were replaced, 4K miles, and as far as i know is Bone Stock, maybe an exhaust.


He said you cant tell the bike was down, since they didnt paint over the plastics that were damaged, they just got new ones. . . . . Still, doesn't sound like a good deal if the bike will sell for around 5K, cuz i'm pretty sure he wont be able to come up with 3K even if he wanted to.
