Navy man killed in weekend motorcycle crash
Body: 12:24 PM EDT on Monday, September 17, 2007

A Navy man died Sunday after losing control of his motorcycle while he illegally passed two cars, Va. Beach police said.
Watch the report Rolle J. Thurson, 20, was pinned beneath a car that had been driving in the opposite direction in the 1400 block of Sandbridge Road.
The crash happened around 7:30 p.m.
Thurson died at the hospital.
Police say he was going west, went into the eastbound lane but couldn’t get back into his own lane before sliding under the oncoming vehicle.
Authorities say that passing two vehicles at one time is illegal.
Authorities say speed was a factor in the crash and that the investigation continues.
Much of Sandbridge Road doesn't allow for passing because it has so many curves and no shoulders.
