Agree'd. Turboing a bike that small is a waste of time/money. Perfect example is the link above, all that for 76hp. Hell stock 600's dyno in the low 100's.

it depends on what your going for, if you just want something fast agreed,
but if you want something that is different and surprising then go for it, i guess its like turboing a civic.....

true, I just don't see the logic in wasting money to turn something horribly slow into something moderately slow. Your turbo civic analogy still applies.

i guess to have something different, if the logic of why buy something slow applies then why doesnt everyone have a 500hp turbo busa.....

The biggest thing is the money issue.............


Take the total money it's gonna cost you to build that turbo kit (plus making your carb'd bike into fi) and add that to what you could sell your 500 for and you prolly have enough money to get a good used newer 600.




Now if you just wanna have something different, go for it. But be prepared to spend lots of money and time on it to keep it running straight for the rest of it's life.
