Default Hey Skrooz...HELP!

Hey Steve, ran into a little trouble with my Hodaka project...hoping you can talk me out of it. I had completely disassembled this thing and am finally getting around to putting it together. One of the fork tubes won't slide though. It sticks either fully compressed (no spring in it, it's just the slider and leg) or fully extended. If I put a whole lot of pressure (like my entire 200 lbs. and every bit of muscle I can muster) on it either way it will come loose and slide to the opposite side, only to stick again. I cleaned everything up and filled it with penetrating oil, to no avail. Any ideas? Thanks man.

Off, the guts are all out of it. Maybe I'll put the cap on and see if that changes anything...didn't think about that.

it shouldn't bind like that at all. make sure the bushings are staying in thier races when you put it all togather. if they're worn, they can pop out when you put it together, and they can bind up at the top and bottom of the stroke.
