front tire question

front tire question

everywhere i read says when removing to put a jack under the exhaust and put up on rear stand. will a front stand not work for some reason? thanks for any info.

NEVER use a front stand without the bike already being on a rear stand. But a jack? Nope, don't need one.

oh yeah, i knew not to just use a front. it just seems like people avoid using them and i always see people saying a jack under the exhaust! don't know...thanks though man

i guess thats for people that don't have a front stand or something... i've worked with a jack under the exhaust before and always felt it to be unstable
