im only 16 , dont you have to be 18 in order to get one? only reason im getting one in the first place is for transportation because i dont have my license for a car yet lol

 

dude you have like 3 months to wait till you get your car license... Just suck it up and put that money into a car or something.

 

ha, thats really sick. Thats like a teenage pocket bike. Since you cant get this one because of the engine, I would say to just get a regular moped or maybe just get a cheap car.

EDIT: Are you sure that this is over 50cc? It is posted on ebay in the category of: Powersport Vehicles Under 50cc. I do not see the R2 listed on their website. I see RS-25 which looks similar. Maybe you might be lucky and this one has a 50cc engine. E-mail the seller.

yea im pretty sure , because its 4 stroke , most under 50cc are only 2 stroke , and i doubt a 50cc would go 50+ out of the box.

Nah man i gotta wait another 9 months for the license , my mom could never get off work to take me to dmv so i just now got my permit but i think ima just get a moped for now and save for a car

 

You can get a okayish starter car for $1,500 -$1,900, so when you buy your moped, make sure to get a decent condition used one. If you get a brand new one, you will be getting the hit of depreciation when you are ready to sell in a few months to get your car. If you buy a used one, it wont depreciate as much when you are ready to sell it, giving you more money to put towards your car... This is if money is a factor for you

 

actually not legal on any virginia street. TRUST ME I KNOW,... i got arrested on mine bout a month ago. they said if it has more than 1 gear and over a 49cc engine its not legal... at least in hampton,.. but thats what the dickhead cop said... dont hold me to that 1...just lettin you know what hapnd to me

 

The R2 and the RS-25 are the same bike.

And it looks like it would be fun...have to port and polish the head, full exhaust, jet the carb...bet I could get another 5 hp from it!!

 

dude, im going to buy one of those. its the perfect first bike. i always wanted a bike but never wanted to dish out 5k for something i would probably put down or kill myself on.

also, in the video it looks like the speedo says the bike is going 97mph but the top speed in the ebay listing and website were the video is posted on only says 60 mph tops.

 

dammit...i neeeeeeed one of these!
