Question in regards to cleaning leather jackets. In this heat and my lovely black leather a* jacket are not doing well. my dudefunk needs to be removed from the jacket and febreeze is just a mask I'd like to resolve the real issue.

It'll probably be stiff so apply saddle soap or some kind of conditioner after it's dry.
I wear textile gear... not experienced with leather stuff.

Hmm... try soaking it in lukewarm water and vinegar. Hand massage it under the water, then hang it in the sun or over a fan for a few hours/days.

What about textile? Mine says its not machine washable.

I hand wash everything... helmet liners, gloves, everything.
