Me and a friend straitened out my bent rotor............ao I'm good. Anyone up for riding tomorrow afternoon? As long as the rain has passed by????

 

how did you go about that? i had always thought you couldn't do anything with bent floating discs

 

Put the tire on a balancer stand and spun it. Only one side was bent, and in one spot. Then just took a wrench to it and pulled it out. I don't think it was the rotor that was bent, I think it was the aluminum bracket it floats on. Just bent it back!

 

It's 1:10..................gonna hop in the shower and then go ride!!!!!

If the weather is decent this weekend, I want to head out your way. I'm not sure if I've ridden with you but I have met a few Va Beach people. I want to go to Pungo again.

I thought it was time to leave before I got tired of some of the banter. Those that know me know that I can hang with the sarcasm and wit. Some of it was just getting old and I have alot of other interests that don't spark the negativity. I have no problem with any one person but I have come to dislike the overall attitude. There's some good people there and some knowledgeable riders and I'll visit from time to time. I look forward to the warmer weather when I can get out on the roads again.....until then, I like to personalize my stuff. It's kinda my hobby to modify things which some people take the wrong way. Hope to meet up with some of the Coast Riders......seem like good people.

I could NEVER ride your bike like I ride mine. Too much damn money and it looks too pretty to be tearing it up in the twisties. But I'm not you. If you have the balls to actually ride that bike then more power to ya!

We'll get out there sometime soon. I'm at the track this weekend, but next weekend will prolly be the last one before the bike is race prepped............
