You guys didn't seriously believe they wouldn't press charges, did you?

If they can make some money they will. Simple as that.

How did he not get, involuntary manslaughter? I thought that was automatic when you kill someone in a car.

It was on the 13 news website today that they have a witness who has been riding for 30 years that said the bike was speeding. the messed up part is, the driver of the caddy, it was his SECOND offense for driving on a revoction, plus he has no insurance, so the family probably wont get shit from the guy. I hope it at least eats at his conscience though

It doesn't matter, once again peole ASSUME and hear RUMORS....

I'm getting in touch with the family, they were in town last night and plan on taking his body back to NC.

He was rider & didn't know many people in the two wheeled community.

There are more details but I rather not get into it.

OBTW the driver has been charged with failure to yield before among other moving violations.

Speed is always a factor it seems for motorcyclists.

How did the truck know he was speeding?? Did he have a radar??

We are all guilty of not going the posted speed limit.

Once again another rider down and the media blasting the rider!

Fuck cagers and their non-driving ass's, fuck VA and their stupid slap on the wrist for killing a rider.

We as rider need to be more alert and watch not only the roads but cagers who never seem to see us.

My thoughts and prayers to his friends and family.

And I agree, it's typical BS the way the police and media handle any motorcycle related incident. I was pulled over one time because it "looked like I was going too fast"...yes, that's what he said. It happened on Diamond Springs...I was doing 40 mph in a 45.

And yeah...the cager will get off. Fuggin' BS....
