You're right, the Pirellis are about 260. I've been looking at the Metzeler M3's though, which are 210.

And if you have a 180 already on the bike, a 190 won't hurt it. It will be more stable in a straight run, but it will be a bit harder to turn in when the roads get twisty. It probably won't even be that noticable since it is on the rear. You can feel a bigger difference if you change the front tire. My old '91 came with 160s on the rear and I put on a 180...barely fit in the swingarm, but it did fit. Worked fine, just had to throw it in a little harder when I turned, but on a long straight...damn it was smooth!!

BTW, you didn't say what kind of bike you have...I am assuming that you have a 180 on there now. Wish you were closer, I would gladly trade the 190 for a 180 I have sitting around! The 190 would look killer on my fighter!
