Where Waldo?
Well I'll describe what I got going on right now. Basically the car will turnover, but will lean out to a stall. Sometimes quickly, sometimes it takes a second. I usually use my E-Manage and increase the injector cycle by about 5% in the lower rpm range to get it running. If I can get it warmed up, it'll start up pretty much everytime. From what I understand, on warm starts and after 180 seconds the ECU goes into close-loop and runs off the o2 sensors. Also, if I drive around with it, it wants to bog out when I get on it, but if I cruise around, which means its running off the o2 sensors, it runs perfect. Problem is, I'm not throwing a code for the MAF. I throw all kinds of random codes. It's different everytime I start it. I've been short on money as of late, so I've been relunctant to buy parts that may or may not fix my car. I've been trying to get a definite yes that it's my MAF.
omg dude you have a fukin PE kit???
Sweet man
Yeah I am pretty sure you cannot run it without a maf.
Is your car non-intercooled? We were about to make a kit before spool-turbo closed its doors. Like chris said we made several manifolds that were similar to the PE kit but we were making them for big garrett turbos and external wastegates.....nice car man...I need to see this

But usually when the MAF is bad it just wont rev up past like 3-5k
damn man I want a turbo spyder

Yep, but its not a perfect start. Usually it takes alot of work. Revving it, keeping it at upper-rpms for a length of time and then it'll idle. I mean it cranks all the time, it just doesn't idle without the fuel enrinchening and all the said work above. Oh and my car doesn't seem to know the MAF is bad, if that's the case.

I try not to screw with that too much. I'm no tuner and last thing I want is detonation. Most of the timing is retarded, but I'd have to look at the maps again. I don't believe it's a tuning problem. These are maps that worked before, and a minute later stopped working. Yeah, some others also suggested fuel pressure. I have the PE 165lph fuel pump, and that's pretty much the only thing upgraded in my fuel system.
