VCU Murder
Is anyone else really pissed off about this? I know people get killed all the time, but there's something about this, I just can't stop thinking about it. I guess it's just the circumstances of it and how close it was. I mean, they had already robbed the kids and gotten their car, so now they're going to shoot them in the back too? It gives me homicidal thoughts, it really does.
Whatever you think, say it.

Kid was in the wrong place at the wrong time.
Some kids that move here don't have any street sense...most of them learn it before it catches up to them, some don't.
He was in a park off campus, in the middle of the night.
Not safe, DUH

naw i dont think the girl got hurt..the dude was the only one that got shot..they shouldn't have been walking through the park at 1am..thats plain stupid..i mean i think the robbers are some dumbfucks too..okay they got the car..what was the point of shooting the dude in his back?? and then leaving the girl alive so she can give the police a description of what they look like..? sounds like some fuckin dumbshyt... im not saying they should have shot both of them..they just shouldn't have shot anyone of them..they got what they fukin needed..they're gonna get caught....its pretty shocking because he was a VCU student..
I agree wrong place wrong time, but I'm just stuck on it for some reason. I know we aren't around the corner from a utopian society, but shit needs to change. I've been living here long enough to have the necessary street smarts, but we shouldn't have to fear for our lives whenever we're out at night. I want to be able to stumble home with my buddies after a party without the fear of being murdered.
Just quit watching the news and reading the newspaper and everything will seem to be allright.
I feel for the younger crowd, they only know the society they have been brought up in. I'm not old by any means, but I can remember when people were polite, held doors for each other, said please and thankyou, and didn't drive like total assholes.
I can remember as a kid going where I wanted when I wanted without a worry in the world. Times have indeed changed, and for the worse.
If you don't already have a concealed carry permit, you are going to want to get one and carry any time you leave the house.
I will agree with the out of town kids coming here for school and not knowing what they are getting into, it's not like there are signs posted or flyers handed out that say "Welcome to Richmond, Duck and Cover!"
