State police now using a Dodge Charger...since when?
Unmarked cars always throw me off. Got pulled over by an unmarked Impala the other night for doin 60 on Broad in Short Pump. Luckily it was the same cop that worked my wreck last year, so he let me off the hook.
There is a red Malibu that absolutely runs the eastern section of Henrico County, he's always got someone pulled when I travel through 295-64.
I've been parking next to one of the marked Chargers for over 6 months. There are also white unmarked Chargers, along with unmarked Tahoes, minivans, 300s, pickup trucks, Malibus, Intrepids... just about everything.
Yeah I know I was sitting @ a gas station waiting for a freind and noticed an Hanover co. sheriff pulled someone over, then a min later this Maroon Buick Lucerne or LaCross pulls up behind the cop and turned on blue lights. I was like WOW...., so yeah there driving evreything..
There's a quick install kit that's temporary that can be thrown into just about any seized, impounded, or otherwise available vehicle. Flip down visor lights, LED blues in the back, and a Motorola radio that has an antenna that looks like a cell phone one.
All of them around the intersection of Pump and Broad.
I got pulled over by a unmarked green charger with dark ass tints, and full hemi edition. He tailed me for like 5 miles, I thought it was just a cocky hemi owner. It was a 55 mph, I was on Huguenot trail (rt 711 in powhatan), I sped up to right under 70, it was a very windy road. Finnaly pulls me over when I signal im going to pull into my work, only place on the whole road. Lets me go for exhaust, lowered car, 69 in a 55, tints, but he wrote me up for my front tag. I was just in such aww and like disbelief that the car pulled me over, but very nice state trooper.
